    The Hedge Knight Vol II

Has anyone read this yet? I just purchased it and although I normally will not read a "graphic novel", I made an exception in this case. It was pretty good with great art work. Just a little something to hold myself over until ADWD is finally released.

Your bias against graphic novels speaks ill of you, my friend ;). Even so, I read the Hedge Knight and the Sworn Sword in print first (in Legends and Legends II, respectively), and felt that their treatment in the graphic medium was well-done. I prefer the originals, but that's due to the details; that's just gonna happen when you adapt something to sequential art.

There's a lot of great literature out there in the sequential art medium, by the by. It's not all capes and tights anymore, you know?

Both "The Hedge Knight" and "The Sworn Sword" were excellent (I'd read both Legends books as well Jess). I noted that there are references to Dunk and Egg in the books as well. He's working on a third which he expects put in a compilation of his and other authors works dubbed "Warriors" - it is slated to be out "soon" but so is a Dance With Dragons.

Yeah, Martin has said frequently that he enjoys writing the Dunk & Egg stories, and will continue to do so throughout the life of the series. It was especially interesting to me to read the references to Dunk in a Feast for Crows, and to find out part of how that story plays out.
