Has anyone else enjoyed the Mark Schweizer liturgical mystery series?

I just looked the series up on the author's Website: https://www.sjmpbooks.com/pages/mysteries.html#OWP.
The books sound fun! Kind of sounded like the DEAREST DOROTHY SERIES by Charlene Baumbich with a lot of interesting & quirky characters!

If you like Liturgical Mysteries, please take a look at my Monastery Murders. I'm just starting a blog tour this month. My first post is a fun interview that asks questions I've never been asked before, including my deepest, darkest secret. Can you guess? http://bit.ly/INeY1F

Reminds me of "The Rabbi . . . " series that I got started with late '90's or 2000-ish

I listed the first in the Liturgical Mysteries on my blog because I keep a list of 99 cent books (usually that I have read.) I mentioned it came recommended on a couple of forums. Only one person replied and she said she found it kind of "put down" women with constant jokes. I haven't read it, but I think the first book is still 99 cents!
