Saving Grace is my all time favorite Garwood book. I have read it almost every year since I discovered Garwood over 10 years ago.

If you like your knights with tortured pasts, try anything by Kinley Macgregor. I love her medieval romances.

My favourite is 'Born in sin' - that is a wonderful, heartrending story with a wonderful hero.

This is All I Ask by Lynn Kurland might be one you are looking for. Although I have never read this book it is highly talked about and very much recommended.

Hey,

I was wondering...can anybody also recommend me novels that is something like the taming of the shrew where the girl is very spirited and the guy treats her bad but with good intentions...

If the story is set in the medieval or historical times would be a bonus... I dont mind pirates too... ;p

I cant wait to hear suggestions from you guys....

Cheers.

Anything by Bertrice Small is kinda set in medival times...very brave strong woman but not too sterytypical romancy. Definately get alot of the background for the time period, that's why I love them! Try her series starting with "Skye O'Malley" (O'Malley Saga)

I read Fairest Of Them All by Teresa Medeiros recently and would definitely recommend it. Welsh knight with a curse over his head enters a tournament to win the hand of a beautiful high-spirited lady because he needs her dowry. She really doesn't want to marry at all so she disguises herself to look very ugly and overweight, hoping to repel any possible suitors. It's very well written. :)
