Seeking great short AP book for friend
I have a friend who is an attachment-inclined working 30-hrs a week mama who wants deeply to do the right things with her 3 year old daughter but gets pressure from many sides to step back rather than lean in. I'd like to recommend to her (as she leaves on a week-long vacation with her extended family and will have time to read) a good book that will help her see her instincts are right on -- and also offer her another voice while on this trip with some of the people fostering some of the doubt. When I look at my shelf (much of which still needs to be uploaded here) I see books that I'm certain she wouldn't read because they're either too long, too theory-based, or lack that certain "you should hear this" read-aloud quality that might lend itself perfectly to a trip with family.
All ideas welcome.
