Random Word #2 (Changed the Name)

Every few days I will use a random word generator to get a word that you can post anything you want that the word reminds you of, like a song, poem, informative post, quote, etc. It doesn't matter!

I'm with Kim. The first thing I thought of is how my kids interrupt me every minute of every day no matter what I'm trying to do, even if I tell them not to bug me for a few minutes. My house is full of interference.

Static or a dropped cell phone call. Also, well meaning parents who put their noses where they don't belong. Or, too many people standing around in the kitchen when I am trying to get dinner ready and nobody offers to help. They just stand there in the way watching me work.

What I sometimes have to do when my daughters get to arguing too intensely!

A football call, what my sister's phone lines have when we try to talk on the phone, my parents at times, all the old people at church (although I keep telling myself that most of them mean well), what I have to do when the girls are arguing, what they tell me I do when they don't want to hear my (obviously justified) opinion.

The interference in my brain at 2 a.m. when I really want to sleep--but instead have all of the "noise" about what I want to be when I grow up, angst about our oldest heading to Governor's School for his senior year (it's residential), how to keep our youngest (3) interested in potty training (so far, so good), how to manage my aging parents, how to design the landscape in the torn-up backyard, how to decide if I want to work part-time while the kids are in school at a local garden nursery (would love it, I think), how to find the grants for an environmental education program I'm doing at our daughter's school, and how the HECK am I ever going to get anything done if I don't get some sleep?!? That's the interference in my brain these days... :-)

    Interference

In case you don't understand, speak to the hand!
    Need I say more?
This conversation does not involve you.
Every time I open my mouth, you are there -- and not welcome!
Remove yourself from my space. I don't want to hear your
Flippant remarks, so can it and put it on the shelf. Just as you
    Entered in, step out!
Run, don't walk, to the nearest exit!
    Encumbrance is
Not in your best interest. Upon this you
    Can rest assured.
    Enough said!
