By far the best one I've read on this guy is The Only Living Witness, but The Last Victim runs a close second.

Here's the story, I was living in Florida at the time of the Chi Omega murders and could never bring myself to read anything about Ted Bundy.

I actually think it's kind of weird, most people seem to WANT to know what's happening in their neighborhood. I think for me it scared me. If I read a book about a true crime, it's far away, this person isn't threatening me but in Ted Bundy's case, he came to Florida, he was just an hours drive away.

So it has actually been a conscience effort on my part to not read anything Bundy related.

Hubby bought a Nook. Any free Nook books?

I have a Nook but found the nonfiction freebies few and far between and it seemed like the books were only for Kindle, so now I have both. I dont use my Nook much anymore. My kids would like me to donate mine to one of them but I do have some books stored on there and I want to keep it just in case there is a free book on Nook that I cant get on Kindle.

Nook is the Barnes & Noble e-reader, right? I imagine the place to look if that's true is the Barnes & Noble website.

I get the B&N e-mailed newsletter and they do have coupons for Nook books. I have only had it a couple weeks and do not own an e-reader, so any free Nook book offers have escaped me.

I have not been able to find a daily email from B&N announcing free books. I do get emails about books I can buy but not free ones. If anyone has any kind of newsletter address let me know. The newsletter I get is not from Amazon, it is some private thing. It is called Book Bassett and very seldom has nonfiction, but if you like mystery, vampires and romance you could get a ton. Just do a search for Book Bassett.

B&N also has what they call Free Fridays. Mostly romance and/or vampires.

I know. I've read the book. Everytime you pick it up the song starts playing.

By the way, if you havent read this one be sure to get it. Its the one about Mary Kay Latournau (not sure if thats the correct spelling), the teacher that had an affair with her 14 year old student, went to jail and later married him. And, of course, if its Gregg Olsen we know its good.

Got it. And I started Ann and Ted last night at the bar. I didn't have anything else to read - well I mean I had all the books on my phone - I mean I didn't have my library books with me which I always try to read first, which explains why the books I own aren't getting read.
