Hello Again Tanya,
In answer to your question..Do I feel equipped? Yes and no. However, please notice that Yes is capitalized and no is in lowercase.
Quotes: ''We must combine the toughness of the serpent with the softness of the dove.'' ''A tough mind and a tender heart.'' I happen to be reading ''A Testament of Hope'' The Essential Writings and Speeches of Martin Luther King, Jr. The quotes are from 54. The Strength to Love
Later : Quotes: ''The strong man holds in a living blend strongly marked opposites. Not ordinarily do men achieve this balance of opposites. The idealists are not usually realistic, and the realists are not usually idealistic. The militant are not generally known to be passive, nor the passive militant.Seldom are the humble self-assertive,or the self-assertive humble. But life at it's best is a creative synthesis of opposites in fruitful harmony. The philosopher Hegel said that truth is found neither in the thesis or antithesis, but in an emergent synthesis which reconciles the two.''
In relation to my mom's circumstance I think of the literal example of TongueTalk..the science of synthesizing the senses.
Who would think that religion/science could come together? The author Kurzweil's book ''The Singularity is Near'' is perhaps speaking of the same idea as Martin Luther only using different means to express.
