Who is your favorite author?
Mine is probably a tie between J.K. Rowling and Jerry Spinelli

There are so many good choices. I like J.K. Rowling for children's fantasy.
Stephenie Meyer for young adults.
Bernard Cornwell for british historical fiction.
Indu Sundaresan for other historical fiction.
J. R. R. Tolkien for fantasy.
Julia Quinn for romance.
Runners up are:
Robin Hobb
Laurie Halse Anderson
Holly Black and Tony DiTerlizzi (spiderwick chronicles)
John Falnagan
Joseph Delaney
Jenny Nimmo
Gillian Summers
Marion Zimmer Bradley
Elizabeth Hoyt
Teresa Medieros
Catherine Fisher
Liz Berry (the China Garden)
And so much more that I can't think of them all right now.

mmm...a tie between Cynthia Voigt, Shannon Hale, Stephenie Meyer, and Kathering Patterson. I think, difficult for me to decide.
