Again, I want to thank you all for being so patient as we worked to fix the book search issue. I know it's been helpful for you to be able to track our progress and stay updated on the issues being fixed.
On that note, many of you have reported book covers that suddenly appear as blue covers or with the broken image icon. As we suspected, since our book search results and book covers come from the same place, both issues were fixed at the same time.
HOWEVER, while the book covers issue is fixed it may take a little time for your cover to show up on your shelf. Going forward books won't be missing their covers or having the blue/blank image. But all the books that currently have the blue cover/broken image will take a little time to naturally refresh in our system.
Here's the deal--I can manually refresh the books with blue/broken covers. If you post the link to the book page (like: http://www.shelfari.com/books/138496/The-Dogs-of-Riga
) then I will fix the book. Please note, it may take a little time to get through your requests, but I'll take time every day to work on them.
