The Shelfari Data group is an integral part of Shelfari. The purpose of this group is to help improve the data quality on the site. Currently, this includes:
1. Collapsing Authors: You may notice that there are multiple listings for the same author (example: JRR Tolkien, J.R.R. Tolkien, J R R Tolkien), the purpose of this feature is to collapse the authors into one listing. Please see "Collapsing Authors" thread for instructions.
2. Changing Author Names: Some author names are incorrectly spelled. This feature allows us to correct these errors. Please see "Changing Author Names" thread for instructions.
3. Editing Book Details: Not Available. DETAILS COMING SOON.
4. Uploading Book Covers: Not Available. DETAILS COMING SOON.

This is a small group due to the nature of the information that you will be working with. ANY changes made here are duplicated throughout the site. Therefore, we want to avoid any abuse and ensure that correct information reigns supreme. Thank you all for help!!
