Who really does?
Started by Captain Trips, Monday, July 14 2008. Last post Sunday, August 3 2008.

You know, some genres of books just have certain types of people that read them. Like, housewives are the people that you think of that read romance novels. Pimply nerdboys read Sci-fi. Men over the age of forty read John Grisham. hipsters read the current 'big' book, "The Kite Runner" is a good example. But, there really isn't a defined group of people who read Stephen King. So i want to know, who reads King?

I'm a library tech and English major who finds Shakespeare totally cool. I've read SK since around 1974 when 'Carrie' was published. (I was 11, too.)

I'm a stay at home mom of three and working on my medical transcription degree at home. I have been hopelessly addicted to King since I read The Waste Lands (Dark Tower 3) when I was 8. Havent been able to stop since.

Everybody reads King, don't they? LOL - I am a mom, have a master's degree and work part time in HR. I read my first King (the Stand) when I was in high school and have read every book he published since then.
