I'm looking for a quote on sorrow . . .
that I ran across recently and cannot find now. It said something about what makes sorrow so hard is that we don't just feel the present sorrow, but that each present sorrow also contains all of our past sorrows and brings back our memories and feelings of those. It may have been from A Thousand Splendid Suns, but I'm not at all sure about that. Can anyone quote this for me and tell me who said it? Thank you!
