And I Quote...

I'm constantly dog-ear-ing pages of books because of a line that has the potential to be a wonderful quote. We need a place to share the quotes. Feel free to contribute a great line (or couple of sentences). Any genre, any age, anything G-rated. C'mon there are plenty with that restriction.

    What's your favorite Shakespeare quote?

My favorite Shakespeare quote of all time is:

    "If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended-
That you have but slumb'red here
    While these visions did appear."

These are the last lines of A Midsummer Night's Dream, spoken by Puck. I don't know why, but I just love this quote.

Anyone else? What's your favorite Shakespeare quote?

    My favorite Shakespeare quote is:

"Fear is more pain than is the pain it fears."

The reason i like it so much is because it is one that i use all the time, and it really helps me when i get stressed or worried about something. It basically means that there is no point in worrying about something, because whether you worry or not, the outcome will be the same. :)
