    Dealing w Feelings: Anger

    Save Changes Cancel
Hello! I am looking for books that revolve around children's anger and how children deal with their anger and how everyone else around them deals with it also. Would love your recommendations.
I am a former teacher and children's librarian and a grandmom.

I don't think this book would be for you. However, years ago, I read a book called Raising Cain which is about raising boys. My biggest take-away for that book was the importance we need to place on helping boys to understand the difference between anger and frustration. The argument was that in this culture, boys are often only taught to give names to about 3 emotions, happy, sad and angry.

Thank you. I hadn't heard of that. I am thinking that would have helped me with the raising of my own son, hmm.
I find the title slightly odd because of the use of the word "cain" which is a biblical name (not a religious hangup for me). I wonder if that was deliberate or just a use of the word as a common idiom. Again, thank you.
