I just finished Frisk by Dennis Cooper. THAT was gory and graphic and then started The Taking by Dean Koontz. I have always wanted to read a book by him because I like his name. Looks good in print. It is post apocalyptic so I guess that is a no go. I will respect and even cater to Rhonda's sensitive constitution. I have on my shelf A Heatbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers, Angels and Insects by A. S. Byatt, A Case of Curiosities by Allen Kurzwell and Invisible Monsters by Chuch Palahniuk. Or we could give Cormac McCarthy another try with All the Wild Horses. (I've read it but would like to read it again).
The other books I have started and put them down. It might mean they are not good (or to my liking), or I could of been distracted by something and put them down. Another suggestion is Seeing by Saramago. I think we have probably all read Blindness so a follow up would be good. It is either called Seeing or something similar. Or should I just assign something? I am also curious to read Jennifer Government but it is Sci-Fi and maybe a bit silly for certain members of the group.
Or...someone else can pick. I'm easy. I will check out my Wish List and see what is there.
