in small doses, look for a great anthology called "Wastelands." I'm just beginning to get into the genre, but it looks like a good sampling of authors.
Stephen King, Orson Scott Card, Paolo Bacigalupi, M. Rickert, Jonathan Lethem, Cory Doctorow, Octavia Butler and more. I may have picked the best 3 stories to start with because I thought they were great! We'll see about the rest.
