  Help me Remember a Title Please!!!!!!

  Hey there. I read a book several years ago and cannot remember the title or author. This is the plot: a woman feels taken for granted by her family and just walks away from them during a vacation and starts a new life. Takes place in the U.S. It sounds silly when I write it, but it was a decent book. But it is driving me nuts that I cannot remember the title. Let me know if you can help my ailing mind rest!

  Maybe you are thinking of Anne Tyler's Ladder of Years...if it's not the right book, I hope you find the one you want - it drives me crazy when I know I know the title, but it just slips off my mind.
