Hi, Tenia!
Wow! Not only is Santa confusing winter with summer, and GEE, I am still in training here, but now Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer's nasal radar went on the blink. Here we were, soaking in the sun and doing all sorts of hot weather activities, going to tourist traps, Saturday markets, craft fairs, and fiestas and festivals between delivering summer reading material, when we made a trip further South.
Suddenly the weather got REALLY cold. Reminded me of the North Pole! Well, here we were in an iced-up harbor surrounded by snow, when we spied a cabin. When we knocked on the door, the person who answered, a scientist, it turned out, introduced us to her fellow scientists, gave us all a cup of hot cocoa, and told us that we had landed in Antartica. The South Pole was just a few miles further South.
OUCH! We flew TOO FAR South!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, after leaving all those nice scientists some great books, we are flying again from the frigid South to the warm North!.
We will be delivering your gift in about 3-4 days.
But since the reindeer want to stop and chat with the wild llamas in South America, exchange email addies and all that, and the elves want to do the same with the penguins and kangaroos, it might take up to a week for us to bring your package.
Keep a look out for your book under that coconut palm tree on the beach.
See ya soon!
