This is a group for people who are interested in the relationship between these three cultures. We could discuss cultural and social borrowings and conflicts. We could discuss political and economic cooperation and competition. We could discuss war. There are many works of fiction and non-fiction that could light our way and stimulate our discussion. My ideal would be to gather Asian and Asian-American participants, non-Asian Americans, Europeans, to see what we can learn from this "Pacific Triangle."
