Hi, I'm new here. I'm admitting my biases up front: I have a lot of problems with the way people use religion or religious texts to justify their bad behavior. I'm interested in peace and understanding, gaining knowledge of other's beliefs and thought processes, thinking about where God and the Divine come from, respect and fair treatment for all human beings, beer, the Red Sox and pasta, naturally.
