hey i was at a bookstore and i saw a few books that sounded kind of interesting so i thought i would share

i don't know the authors but i am sure you can find it by title

    the first is
the god delusion by richard dawkins (only author i know)

and the second is a look kind of just a book about how atheism is wrong but i love the title

    I DON'T BELIEVE IN ATHEISTS.
    lol
i thought that was a funny title for a book.

have any of you read the first one? i was going to buy it but wanted to see if any of you know if its worth the $10.

I went to the library and borrowed it. If it is a good read I will get the hard back edition. The Library is a good first stop to determine if a book is worth your shelf space. A companion book I am checking is The Devil's Delusion, by David Brelinski.

    Hey Jacob,
I have indeed read The God Delusion by Professor Dawkins & I for one would very highly recommend it to any free-thinking individual. It offers a very robust collection of arguments against religion, god & the idea of organized faith & does so with effortless eloquence & simplicity. An ideal introduction to the concept of atheism & humanism, it details out the biological, sociological & psychological issues involved in dealing with spiritual experiences, the notion of "love", morality etc... all the while clearly distinguishing the same from religion.

The God Delusion is my favorite "holy text" because it isn't as aggressive as Sam Harris' "The End of Faith", nor is it as ambiguous as Dennett's "Breaking the Spell", nor as blunt as Christopher Hitchen's "God is Not Great", nor as philosophical (and out of date) as Russell's "Why I Am Not a Christian"...

(although every one of those is a wonderful read too)
