Take a look at the results of the Twilight versus Harry Potter debate

If you’ve ever thought a Twilight versus Harry Potter debate could only end with Twi-hards and Potter heads screaming at each other like banshees, you’ll need to take a look at the well-argued and intelligent responses in the Team Twilight versus Team Potter debate: http://www.examiner.com/x-562-Book-Examiner~y2008m12d24-The-Twilight-vs-Harry-Potter-debate--Team-Potter-and-Team-Twilight-take-on-Question-1
Who knows, it might give you a different perspective on a series you previously dismissed.

I am not sure why you would compare the two. I've read all of each and thoroughly enjoyed all. they're definitely two totally different things.

I honestly think they only have 2 comparison points.

1.) They've both been a massive success with "young adults"

2.) Rob Pattinson starred in both the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie and Twilight movie

That's it. The debate is pretty pointless but, yeah, there is some kind of active war between fans of both.

I agree. Both books are so different they really can't be compared.
