Adrian Reading
Adrian did not really know what to make of the woman. One thing, however, was clear. The primal surge of jealousy followed by the urge to growl and shout at the woman were related to the Mark. And it was a Soulmate thing, definitely.
Adjusting his laptop as he was ushered inside, the dark haired boy took the moment to quickly scan the place, eyeing the teetering piles of paper and the bursting cabinet with color codes warily. Honestly, he was surprised that anyone was even able to find things here. Let alone a woman who seemed to spend more time worrying about why she couldn't go out with someone who already had a Soulmate.
Adrian loked outside as his name was called, watching as Lucius rejected her offer, flashed him a warm smile before he was leaving. As soon as the older man was out of sight, Ms Blackwood, as he had called the lady, was turning towards him, managing a small smile around the pout that was threatening.
"Oh, sit down, please," she said, voice flustered as she took a seat. After a brief hesitation, Adrian moved some papers away from one of the seat and cautiously perched on it, setting his laptop on his lap. "Its lovely to see you here again, Adrian."
"It is mildly unpleasant to be here again," replied the boy dismissively, making the woman gape shortly before she snapped her mouth shut and forced a smile on her face.
"Well, here are all the results you needed. I do hope you'll drop by sometime again."
This time, he seemed to remember his manners as he gave the woman a small smile of his own and took the documents she offered, flipping through the pages before smiling. "Thank you, Ms Blackwood."
"No problem, Adrian," she said, smiling as the boy stood up and took his leave, sweeping out of the room.
As soon as he set foot on the marble outside the counsellor's office, the dark haired boy paused, looking down in the direction of the art room and debating with himself whether he should go there or not. After a few seconds of staring, he turned on his heel, loafers barely making noise on the stone as he walked towards the school entrance, one hand easily navigating his phone.
