Good question! So hard to choose...
I'd probably say the philosopher Didactylos from Small Gods. He's intelligent and good company too.
His philosophy was a mixture of three famous schools -- the Cynics, the Stoics and the Epicureans -- and summed up all three of them in his famous phrase, "You can't trust any bugger further than you can throw him, and there's nothing you can do about it, so let's have a drink."
But then if you want to learn stuff there's Lu-Tze as well, or Ponder Stibbons, though they're probably not so much fun. And Cohen the Barbarian or Ridcully you could have a decent beer or few with...

I'm not sure I could understand the Librarian, although, in the new movie coming out, have you seen the actor portraying him before "the Change"? I would LOVE to sit down and have a chat with him..:)
Susan or Sam Vimes wife. I would love to help her with her dragons. Carrot intrigues me. Could I tell if he meant it or not?

Similar to my answer for favourite character, I would chat with Death. You can't get a more interesting history or job to talk about. And talk about someone who really understands the meaning of life!

Great answers! I'd have to say, I'd love to go drinking with Nanny Ogg and hear the Hedgehog Song.

Yes, though Granny Weatherwax is my alltime favorite, I think I would really enjoy talking to DEATH - except if he was coming to get me... in which case I would probably talk with him merely to stall the unevitable. And then again; if HE did come and get me; what interesting last moments to have :-)

It'll have to be Vetinari or Sam Vimes. It'll be a bit scary, since I may wind up in jail (or worse with Vetinari) for something I say, but it'll be interesting, to say the least.
Rob Anybody would be cool too. Might be hard to understand him, though. Crivens!

Id like to talk ti Vimes or the Luggage. Actually i'd like the luggage as a pet, that would be sweet.

Granny Weatherwax, although she couldn't be having with that. I think she is brilliant

The trunk. Oh, the things it has done, the places it has gone and the other charactors it has dealt with. It's often smarter than the other charactors it is with!

I'd actually like a chat with Miss Susan. She'd be polite company but also send me off with a few new ways of seeing things. Not to mention I could get some tips on poker technique - the kids would appreciate that, I'm sure!

Gaspode. Aside from the fact that he's a DOG, he's also a pretentious jerk, and they're always fun. ;]

I'd love to meet Death (a.k.a. Bill Door) :) He seems to be an interesting conversationalist. Hee.

Oh. I'm new here. :) Just want to say hi to everybody. I'm a Terry Pratchett fan from the Philippines. I'm slowly amassing a collection of Pratchett titles. :)

i'd love to have nanny ogg over for dinner and lewd songs, later. next best, gaspode. he just cracks me up. i know very many mr. always-rights who sound exactly like gaspode. so, i'm in good practice as far as deflating inflated egos are concerned.
