The Ankh-Morpork Auxiliary Pratchett Society

Are you a fan of the honourable Terry Pratchett? Well then, The Ankh-Morpork Auxiliary Pratchett Society is the group for you! At least we're pretty certain it is. We'll find out I suppose. Discworld is of course terribly popular with Pratchett fans, but our group will focus on any of his works.

Discussions: What Pratchett are you reading now?

What Pratchett are you reading now?

I just finished Lords and Ladies. It is up there in my top five list for Pratchett at least. I thought it had a compelling plot, lots of fun allusions and at least two horrible sneaky puns that I love.

I'm wrapping up Mort for the 2nd time. I'm in the process of reading through the Discworld's in order. Some of which I have read before, but with my horrible memory reading the series from scratch and in order is quite fun.

I read at least one non-Pratchett book in between each so I don't go bonkers =) Sourcery is next.

Well, I started Guards! Guards!, but then I loaned it to a friend to take on a trip before I finished it. Talk about nice. Hope he brings it back, that's all. I just was hoping to get another person addicted to Pratchett.
I was loving the book by the way. Dragons, detectives, librarians, what's not to love?

More people should feel that way about librarian! I would date more (I wouldn't mind bringing along a dragon and a detective either for spice) :-)

I do believe I've made another Pratchett convert. My friend loved the book, actually, his wife ended up reading it, so she loves it, but she wasn't finished, so I let her have it. Now I have to run and get another!

I'm starting Jingo today. I've decide to read all the books in the Guards series. I have finished Guards! Guards!, Men at Arms and Feet of Clay. I really like Vetinari and can't help seeing him as David Bowie.

I'm reading The Fifth Elephant now. I see why Sam Vimes has so many fans now, also the Guards series. Very good mysteries, as well as great fun. I love how Pratchett only flirts with naughty things, etc. He leaves it to the reader without spelling things out in objectionable detail.
