  Heaven

  I am wondering what other people think heaven is going to be like. So I guess in a short paragraph please explain what you think heaven is going to be like.

  No more tears. Untold beauty. Peacefull and satisfying. A place of purpose. A place of praise continuously to our God. No more pain and suffering. A place of reward for things done for His glory. A place where God is the light. No darkness at all. Joy unspeakable. Love unlimited. No defects...all made perfect.

    Now by continuous praise, do you think Non-Stop praise not doing anything else? I have heard others say that, that Heaven will be complete worship of GOD.
    But could it be that in heaven we will be more fully aware of GOD. Like in your other post where you said, about taking notice and being intentional about things of GOD.
    What if we could get to the place where we are completely aware of his Righteousness and his sovereignty while still on earth, would that not be bringing heaven to earth. If we could somehow restore our souls to completely feed off of God's power. Not to make us greater than other but to make us love the ones who haven't had the best of luck.

    Only Jesus fits this bill. But we are blessed. He took our sin and gave us his righteousness. He will reign on earth for a thousand years, so we can see what a righteous judge looks like. We will rule and reign with him.

  i like to think in the details in addition to all the lovely things Karen said. rooms full of chocolate, beautiful knees, no need to shave, all mountaintops and coastal sunsets, the face of God. (that last one is maybe not so small)

  i think of a beautiful cloud display, like at sunset, and God standing there with His arms outstretched to me. but the common picture for people is a gate and a guy at a desk registering people. and giving them wings. if i picture that, i picture an info booth, with all of the answers that befuddle us on earth. i know this isn't a paragraph, but does it help?

  I base my view of heaven from visions in the Bible. Headquarters looks somewhat like the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle. Jesus is there with our Heavenly Father. Everything is beautiful, and everyone loves each other.
