Have you read the other Jewell Parker Rhodes books on or inspired by Marie Levant: Voodoo Dreams and Voodoo Season?

I put it on my calendar for e-book reading week! i did not get a chance to read or buy it. i saw yellow moon on black expressions and next month it is featured so i will choose that book also and i intend to buy the first one; however i think i could do them in reverse order. genealogy mysteries are like that poking around the grave, so i want to see; in fact when i heard about hurricane Katrina i thought about the cross on her tomb!

I would definitely recommend all of the Jewell Parker Rhodes books. I have read in oder so I do not know how they work out of order, since I tend to read series books in order.

Would also recommend the "Benjamin January" series by Barbara Hamley for old New Orleans - Marie Levant also makes an appearance in these books.
