OOOHHHHH Great topic!
I will never read the 50 Shades books, or the Twilight Series (though it is all my fault that my sister read them and became obsessed).
I don't read mushy, frilly romance really at all. You know, the kind with quivering loins and ripped bodices. I have in the past, but it holds no interest for me anymore, I think Fabio has something to do with that.
I have read a couple Danielle Steele books and will never do so again. I am not a fan.
I will also never read a Nicholas Sparks book, if something seems interesting to me, I will watch the movie. Though I have to say, I have yet to like even one of the movies, I am sorry Notebook fans, I know you love it and I am not judging, I swear! It just wasn't my cup of tea.
You have to be a pretty interesting individual to get me to read your bio or autobio.
And most nonfiction reads like and instruction manual and that's not interesting to me in the slightest, so it has to come pretty highly recommended and most reviews have to say that it "read like fiction" to get me to even look at it on the shelf. Case in point, I just bought The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks based on Shelfari recommendations and the sales person that checked me out said the same thing, "you won't put it down and it reads like a novel".
I'm sure there's more, but that's all that came to me right away. I don't have a ton of reading time, so I don't want to waste a second of it!
