    Courtroom dramas

I really like novels that include actual scenes - the more the better. Several of the books in my shelf are courtrooom dramas. Anyone else interested?

I love the cross-examination scene in To Kill a Mockingbird. It has a lot of tenison in it. Very exciting, and clever too!

I love courtroom novels if they are well written.
But I have never tried Perry Mason. It seems like it would be dated at this point in time. Is that true?

I just read The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly. This went through jury selection and the processes, opening statements and questioning and cross examination. The overall book was just ok with the court proceedings and processes being the highlight!

Perri O'Shaughnessey has a very good legal series. The heroine is attorney Nina Reilly. Very good courtroom drama.
