This is a normal enough world where people go about their lives just as would occur in real life. The only difference - and note that this is an important one - is that anything can happen. Absolutely anything! The inhabitants of this universe are characters stolen out of their own worlds and slotted into this one. They were born in and of this world but whatever rules applied in the story they came from also apply to them here. Whether they are mutated beings from The Chrysalids, nephilim from The Infernal Devices, or nobility from Black Butler; every person and creature has a place in this world and none are thought odd because of what they are or what they can do. So be free in what you do and remember that every character can be interpreted in a thousand different ways.
