Anyone a reader of "cozy" mysteries?

I must admit that I will read almost anything if desperate enough, but my big favorite are Cozy-type mysteries especially those in series. Anyone else here into cozies?

I read some. My favorite has been Lilian Jackson Braun's "The Cat Who...." series--I've read all but the "The Cat Who Has Sixty Whiskers".

I always read that series too, although I have felt that some of the newer ones are not as good as the earlier ones--but I'll stick with Qwill and the cats! Hurry and read the Sixty Whiskers one--a couple of big surprises happen--one I'm happy about--the other not at all!

Wow--that's good fortune! Seems like the price of books like everything else keeps going up. Lately, I've been able to find quite a few from some of my favorite series through the 4 county library system that serves our area--that helps the book budget somewhat! Who are you reading?

Try Joan Hess (2 different series) or Jill Churchill or Mary Daheim.

I read all three of those, but particularly love Joan Hess. Those books are just so funny, LOL funny!

Cleo Coyle has a series set in a coffee shop that is a good read. I also like Kate Collins and Diane Mott Davidson.

I have the first in the Cleo Coyle series in my TBR pile--will get there soon. I love Diane Mott Davidson--she has a new one coming out this year, not sure when though. Have never heard of Kate Collins, will have to look her up. Have just found a series by Linwood Barclay--have the first in the series--plan on starting it later tonight--always love finding a new series!

Yep, Diane Mott Davidson, also Rita Mae & Sneaky Pie Brown and Agatha Christie, both Miss Marple and H. Poirot. I like the ones set in a Mennonite bed and breakfast but have read only a few. And Margaret Maron's Deborah Knott series.
