The problem with this presentation of atheism is that its almost unpalatable for anybody who isn't already leaning that way. Why would a believer respond favorably to a scolding intellectual's condescending rants/arguments? The author of this review made it sound very hostile, particularly in the word choice used to describe Hitchens. My problem with the modern atheist movements, symbolized by Hitchens and Dawkins, is that it insults the intelligence of believers. They would reply, 'What intelligence?' thus throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Still, very interesting. Thanks for the posting.
