name of book on Colbert Report??

okay, so I remember this from the Colbert Report a few weeks ago, but I don't remember the name of the book...
he had some sort of scientist on the show, this scientist wrote a book about disease ...the book had all sorts of crazy facts in it like: cats have some chemical in their bodies that makes people get schizophrenia...
The scientist-guy also advocated bloodletting to release disease-causing iron from the bloodstream.
I was really interested in reading this book, do you remember what it was called?

I went on the comedy central website looking for this info since it sounded really interesting. I was unable to find the name of the author, but I did find an article on the cat thing http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/01/060125082853.htm
    I'll keep looking.

I'm trying to find a book I saw featured sometime last season (I think). All I remember is that the author was a young Asian guy and he said his book was basically about a bunch of "Asian nerds" like him and his friends, and their adventures. It sounded cute, and then later I remember seeing a review of it somewhere (?) that said it was good. Now I can't find anything resembling that description anywhere. Anyone have any clues for me?
