  The Park

  New Title

  

  Located near Downtown Miranda, this particular park is of medium size and consists of lots of green, trimmed grass, a small playground where kids are often seen running around as tired mothers with messy knots of hair atop their heads look on, concrete walking paths, lots of trees, and pretty beds of flowers here and there.

    My strawberry curls blow around my face as I walk through the park, a soft smile on my berry colored lips. My wings blow in the wind, invisable to the human eye. I wonder when I'll meet my Human. What fun that will be! A lavender dress blows around my ankles. It doesn't cover all of my tattoo, as the back of the dress is open and my neck fully visable. Maybe God wouldn't approve of my outfit, but I don't think he'll mind very much. A boy sits on a swing with a little smile. What a strange looking human. Besides his blond hair with it's green tips, he is glowing. My aquamarine eyes grow wide. Glowing! The boy is glowing! Could he be my Human? Oh praise the Lord! Today is a wonderful day!

    I let myself be seen, my wings can't be seen of course, and approch the boy. "Hello!" My soft voice cuts a smooth path towards the boy. I wonder what his name is! I wonder what he'll think of me. I hope he doesn't hate me, that would be bad. Really bad. Oh well. I'm his Gaurdian Angel. My boots hit the ground almost soundlessly until I reach the boy. "My name is Roselynn. Who are you?" I say sweetly.

    I give a little laugh. "Is it really that obvious?" I ask him, letting out another laugh. Ah yes. The new girl, a role I'm suprisingly good at. I wonder why?! From having to find this boy, that's how. I hold in a sigh, and an overly happy smile. Don't need to creep him out by seeming super happy. Creeping out you're Human is not a good way to start out.

I wonder if he's a troublemaker, or if he's so good I won't have anything to do. Hmm...

    I hope he's in the same grade as me, he'll be much easier to look after that way. "Tenth. What about you?" I ask. Maybe I can switch my grade if he's not in tenth. Or at least I think I'm in tenth. Yeah that right. I'm susposed to be fifteen, that's tenth grade.

    He leads me towards a little coffee shop. I slide my hand into a pocket that you can barely see and pull out money to pay for the drinks. Yes, I have a pocket in my dress, you can't, as above mentioned, really see it because if blends in with the folds of the fabric.
