The Long Walk by Stephen King

This is by far the most frustrating ending to a book I've ever read!
For those of you who dont know the book is about a walk...a long walk. If the participants fall below a certain walking speed they are warned 3 times, after that they are killed. And the last person left alive is the 'winner'. So you slog through this book about a walk...then it just ends. It's not tied up in a neat little package with a bow, your just kind of left there checking to make sure the last pages havent gotten stuck together somehow or maybe gotten ripped out by someone mean and cruel.
I've never finished a book and threw across the room before but this one warranted such a response.
I love Stephen King but I hate his endings, they're so unpredictable that they've become predictable.
