Hi! I'm new to the group and I'm not sure what everyone here considers Southern Lit., but I just heard that "Rhett Butler's People" is coming out soon. Any comments??

Don't know anything about it, but there does seem to be a spate of books coming out right now from the point of view of such characters, though not necessarily in Southern Lit. There are two new books, I believe, from the point of view of Mr Darcy, one of which purports to be his diary. Is this that sort of thing? A re-telling from the point of view of another character?
