What are your favorite C. S. Lewis books? Mine are, I suppose, all his fiction. I also enjoy his non-fiction though. Guess you could say I'm an all-round fan.

I'm mainly a fiction reader myself, so i guess his fiction books. I actually haven't ever read any of his non-fiction.

I just joined the group and your post caught my attention. I too look to reading as a sort of escape from the everyday so the books I read are not world changing but entertaining. My favorite authors are Dee Henderson, Karen Kingsbury, Rene Gutteridge, Terri Blackstock, Brandilyn Collin, and many more.
Do you know if there is a group that leans more towards light fiction, like, romance, suspense, action/adventure?

ilovelemonade! - I'm not sure what you don't like about fiction, but there are many authors whose focus is on the history, or the historical subject, and because they try to help you see it through people's eyes, they build up a fictional character into those times. Bodie Thoene is an excellent historical/fiction writer for Christians. Irving Stone is great, though he is not a "Christian" writer, he does not exclude faith as a motivating factor in his historical character's lives. Francine Rivers also does a great job of portraying the history of the times she is writing about. The Last Sin Eater and Redeeming Love are two of my particular favorites of hers.

I agree ... Bodie Thoene and Francine Rivers would be top picks.
