more »This group is for anyone who loves History. We read together on a quarterly basis. Lively discussion is encouraged but members are requested to debate respectfully. Lurkers are fine if you're just interested in the site to get book ideas and do not desire to participate further but if you haven't logged on to Shelfari in over a year, you will be removed from the group.
A few group rules:
* Please do not discuss a group read prior to the discussion thread being posted so as not to influence other readers. Early discussion will be deleted.
* If you'd like to introduce yourself, please do so in the Welcome and Introduction Thread rather than place it in the middle of an unrelated discussion.
* If you have a personal agenda or rant that you'd like to add, please don't. It annoys other members and there are other groups that are better suited to this sort of activity.
* Please do not add fiction titles to our group shelf.
