    favorite recipe website

What websites do you really like to visit to find recipes? I haven't found many good ones. A few of the recipes I've tried haven't turned out well. What have you all found that you like?

The foodnetwork.com has a nice variety, and allrecipes.com features home cooks' recipes. In fact, my recipe for Texas Cowboy Stew is on allrecipes.com

I like sparkrecipes.com. I also like the food network. I love to watch that channel on TV. I have several of Rachael Ray's cookbooks, a couple of Paula Deans, cat cora, etc. I collect cookbooks and have hundreds probably. I like to read them like a novel. People don't realize how much information is in a book. I really enjoy reading Maya Angelou's book. So many are history along with food. (I have a grandson in culinary school so the love of cooking is going on.

I love www.thepioneerwoman.com/cooking. It's not good if you are looking for something really healthy or if you are looking for a specific recipe, but she has awesome recipes. I usually check every few days for updates and fit one of her recipes in my cooking schedule for the week.

I HIGHLY recommend her apple dumpling recipe. I am a rockstar around here because of that one simple recipe. I also recommend the crash potatoes and the asian noodle salad. I am also addicted to her blog.

Just found this, it's a food thesaurus, sort of helps with substitutions. I haven't looked it over a lot, but it seemed interesting.
