OK, when I have the True Crime group shelf listed by Author, it starts with Cait Murphy, goes on to Andrew Kirtzman, then Martin O'Malley, Daniel B. Sanger, then Topping, Smith, Gaute & Odell, Lowe, Molloy, Kerr, Kingston, then one with no author listed, and so on. That is not my idea of alphabetical order. It's even more surreal now than when it used to list the authors alphabetically by FIRST name.
When I have it listed by title, it starts with quotation marks -- the first book on the list is The "Crime" Of Dorothy Sheridan, then "He Killed Our Janny", etc, which ALMOST makes sense, but then it goes to titles that start with numbers without listing them in numerical order: 101 People You Won't Meet In Heaven, 102 Minutes, then The 10-Second Jailbreak, 13, 13 1/2, 17 Days, 29 Below: An Encounter With John Wayne Gacy, 50 ways Top Die, and then The 9/11 Report.
As I type this the weirdness deepens. I changed the list at the shelf from Author to Title and back again, and now the By Author list starts with Mark Gado, then goes to Peter Graham, Peter Edwards, Francis Selwyn, Gerald Byrne, Bill Redekop, Colin Wilson, Martin Howells, Sxcoot Palmer and Regina Lloyd. So it's not only listing the books randomly, it lists them differently every time you call the list up that way.
Is anyone working on straightening this out?
