  Advertising Links

  New Title

  

  I see a new issue that really bothers me. Some words on posts highlighted and when you hover over them it's to an advertisement. Not only is this a fairly annoying addition in general, but even if it was a good idea, the advertisements don't even fit with what's highlighted. I've seen author's names highlighted, then the link if for a beauty product. This advertising thing is not something I like to see on Shelfari and hope it doesn't stay.
  Any chance of it being gone at some point?

  Hi Susan! I had a similar issue a few months ago but it was actually something I had downloaded into my computer that was causing it. You may want to check any programs you have downloaded lately and make sure they aren't the cause of it!

  I'd check out your computer, as Lisa said. Also, check any add-ons you have on your browser and make sure they're legit. There are some ones that appear to be legit but in reality slowly hijack your browser.

  Don't forget a virus scan!
