  Suggested Improvements

  There are a couple of things I would like to see in later versions of Shelfari.
  
  1. Allow a narrator line for audio books, or perhaps multiple narrators. For example, Audrey Niffeneger's book, The Time Traveler's Wife, has two narrators. I also created a new book this evening, Battle for the Rhine 1944. I was able to enter the author's name, and I suppose for the second narrator I could have said "Narrated by...."
  
  2. The ability to select a book cover to display on the shelf when the selected edition doesn't have one, doesn't always work for me. Perhaps we should have the ability to upload our own cover like I did tonight for a new book.

  Since we have a "Favorites" section on the shelf, what about adding a "Hated" section as well? I think that the books we hate define us as much as the books we love. Best regards!

  I think there sould be a section for teen books. I'm always looking for a good book, but I have problems deciding between adult and teen book. I think it would help more teen find book they loook or would like to read.

    There are many teen groups on Shelfari and you'd probably find many suggestions for books you'd like. I've never searched for a teen group, but probably if you look under groups, under Teens, you'd find some. Good luck in your search.

    Another way to find books for teens is to use Subjects or Tags. Click the drop down menu on the Books tab (at the top of each page) and select "Subjects" or "Tags". Within Subjects you can look at the Young Adult section (http://www.shelfari.com/books/subjects/Young%20Adult) or within Tags there are a variety of teen related options. Hope that helps!

  Wouldn't it be good if when someone clicks in the Awards section of a book, the list of books appears sorted by the year when it get the award??? Best regards!

    Great idea! We have improvements for the Awards section in our plans--which likely include a few sorting options. We'll keep your idea in mind!

  My newest book, Kyleah's Mirrors, has no cover associated with it, though it's been out for a couple of years.

  Also, the only way to order copies of Shelfari titles (when logged in) is through Amazon. Authors' and publishers' websites should also be linked to each title's page so readers have the option of ordering from other sites, esp. if they wish to purchase autographed copies.
