  Friend Request Invites Don't Show Up Until Days Later

  Hi,

  My profile does not show friend invites I get on the days people send them. Lately I think I have no invites then I check in one day and I got a bunch of requests where folks requested my friendship for as long as 7 days or more and I had no idea because nothing alerted me. I don't get on Shelfari every single day but I do check my profile when I do. I don't want people to think I am ignoring them. I had one friend request for SIX months and I had no idea of the request.

  Can someone tell me what the delay is for the site to display requests when they are sent? I often wonder if some requests do not make it at all.

  That's weird. I'm sorry I don't know how to fix that. But I do know how you can ask a pro. Go to the word "help" at the top of the page. When you click on that click on the arrow from the scroll-down menu shown. Your problem will not be listed. So you would go to the very bottom where it says "other" click on this and it will lead you to a word box where you can type in your problem. Your answer will show up later. (not really sure when) Hope this helps!

  Hi Stacy-Deanne--It sounds like you've turned off the email notification for friendship requests. You can change this by going to your account settings. Within the Notifications section edit your "Notes & Requests" to allow email notifications to be sent. Then you'll know about friendship requests before coming to your home page.
