Hi Mya! I enjoyed reading the Twilight series. I even cried on the second book. :) Much better than the movies for sure. I was just disappointed with the last book, Breaking Dawn.

Glad to hear you are off the hook. I am all for going the easy routhe. Have you ever tried a turkey breast? They are smaller and yummy.

Yes, I am a librarian. I am the director of a medium sized library in sounth Texas. After I finished my BS degree in Education I decided to continue on in my schooling for a Masters in Library Science.

boy I remember those attempts to get my daughter to have her picture with Santa. It was a no go deal for her. So I wish you all the best.

You asked about my cooking. I love to cook. About 11 years I chose library school over pastry school and believe me that was a tough choice. I love cooking. I don't get to do enough of the full blown meals. This year for our Thanksgiving dinner my best friend said I could only come to dinner at her house if I agreed to my chocolate peanut butter triple layer cake. So I am off the hook for the turkey and side.

I am looking forward to a little time off. I just recently changed jobs with only the weekend break so it will be nice to get most of next week to do a little sleeping in. Most likely it will be spent reading and cooking.

How about you? Does your family have big plans?

I do remember reading such a book but I don't think it was a book by Deveraux. It might be by either Catherine Coulter or Viginia Henley. Those are a couple other favs of mine. I will give it some thought and I let you know if you can come up with the author.

I finally caved in and had to buy the audio to Diana Gabaldon's latest. I just don't have the time to sit down and read it. However I was floored to learn that it was 55 hours of listening time. OMG!!!!

Oh Yea!!!! And of course in these books each one is well built and very handsome. Let me know what you think. I just brought the newest book home and my teenager pounced on it. I hope I get to read it some day. :)

Yes, she writes historical fiction about a group of Highland warriors that have been brought to the future and run a sky resort in Maine. Sorry can't think of the first book off the top of my head.

I have read the other books in her series "The Dark Hunters" but they are staarting to get a little strange. The first few books have a lot of mythlogical charaters such a Cupid set as a modern day biker not the dude with the bow and arrows. Cute twist.

I also absoultely love every book by Jude Deveraux. She is one author that I will actually purchase the book instead of waiting for the library to receive.

I really enjoyed Fantasy Lover, I laughed out loud so much my family asked me to leave the room so they could watch tv. Currently, I have found myself reading a lot of the action and adventure kind of stories. I am a HUGE history fan and would love to find the treasure of all treasures, but I am not an outdoor person. So go figure. Lately, I found that I just can't get enough of James Rollins, Lincoln Preston / Douglas Preston, even Dan Brown books.

What would you say was your best ever read?

Mya... Nice to meet you. In deed it looks like we have similar taste in books. I just started the lastest Diane Gabaldon novel with Jamie and Claire's adventrues.

Have you ever tried the book Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon?

Good question on what is considered erotic ... one of the erotic groups I joined had a discussion of this question. I have read some books that had a 1/3 or more of sex with good plot and action. But for each of these there were probably two or three books with boring repetitive sex (husbands not included, of course ;-) I read To Tame a Highland Warrior by Karen Moning many years ago. I don't remember why but I wasn't prompted to read another book by her.

Hi Mya, Knight in Shining Armour is in a class by itself for sure. I enjoy time travel and the last couple I read were Once a Pirate by Susan Grant and Viking Unchained by Sandra Hill. When it comes to books that made me cry I have to say its Bertrice Small. Her series of books starting with Skye O'Malley had me periodically crying from the emotional intensity of their love. Warning though that my reading tastes have moved to the more erotic and these books have lots of steamy sex.

Hi Mya - thanks for the friend add. We do have a lot of books in common. Three of my favorite authors are Sandra Hill (vikings), Lynsay Sands (vampires) and Bertrice Small (erotic historicals).
