“This was pretty good. I liked the progression of the relationship between Rye and Dulcie, although I thought her tendency to turn to alcohol when stressed might not magically go away with Rye's love and the resolution of her father's lynching was not too satisfactory. The most interesting thing to me was that Dulcie was...kinda horny - she could get off with men she didn't even like. Honestly, Rye's acceptance of this was a little fast. Not that she didn't have other good points, like real estate, that could have been factored in in her favor, but still. Flawed characters - at least a flawed heroine and a decent romance. B-/C+”
