Dear Greg: I am an author from Massachusetts. My debut novel HUNTING THE KING was published this past year. If you enjoy reading a good thriller like DA VINCI CODE, you may enjoy HUNTING, too. HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.” Molly O’Dwyer is an in-your-face woman with a mysterious background who’s about to go on the adventure of a lifetime. To get a good sense of how powerful the book is, check out the heart-pounding book trailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com. It is like watching a preview for an exciting movie. The novel is equally exciting. You can find it on Amazon.com, Borders, Barnes & Noble, or your local library or independent bookstore. I hope you’ll take a look. And let me know what you think.Thanks. Peter.

Dear gregr209: If you enjoyed reading the fast-paced mysterious DA VINCI CODE, you will love my debut novel, HUNTING THE KING, coming out this April. HUNTING THE KING is an adventure-packed page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine said: "Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can't come too soon." While the book won't be available until April, you can check it out now on Amazon.com, Buy.com, Kunati Books, Barnes & Noble, and other googleable sites. I hope you will. I know the book won't disappoint. Molly O'Dwyer will stay with you long after you've forgotten Da Vinci. Please watch the wonderful trailer developed by my publisher for the book. You can find it on YouTube or on my own web site at www.peterclenott.com. And let me know what you think. Peter
You have watched the movie of 2010: Odyssey two? I think it is named "2010:The year we made contact". Am I correct? How can I get a print of the movie? I loved all three parts of the books. I have 2001 movie also. :)
Hi greg...quite a collection...ck mine out...wanna be pals?robin
I have just joined Shelfari! I am always looking for a new friend who loves books! My name is Larry Montello, and I live in Marshall, Minnesota. I just moved back here about ten months ago from Arizona! I was born in Montclair, New Jersey. My ethnic heritage is Italian, Scot, Irish, German, Canadian, and God knows what else. I have eight children, all from my marriage to Dawn, that ended over six years ago. Only three of my children live in Minnesota at the present time, (a couple of hours away from here),, but I talk to all of them frequently on the phone and they often visit. In my life I have lived in 14 different US states and traveled in 48. I have also traveled quite a lot in Canada, and some in Mexico. No where else YET! In the past I have been, among other things, a school teacher, small business owner, manager, waiter, hospital technician, salesman, and delivery driver. Now I have an overnight job at Walmart, but who knows how long that will last! I have always been a inquisitive and curious person, which explains my university degrees. They are in geography, history, political science and English Literature. I primarily went to universities to LEARN things not just to pursue career or financial goals. Oh well! Probably does not make much sense to a lot of people. I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies. Among my interests are: history, geography, cultures, music, literature, art, science, railroads, nature and wildlife. Among my hobbies are: reading, listening to music, watching movies, taking care of my pets, collecting stamps, postcards, books, sports memorabilia, and maps. I love animals and have quite a number, including: a dog, (Jack), two cats,(Lilly and Siggy), three cockateils, a tortoises, and eight water turtles. Hopefully your new friend, Larry Please write to me at larrymontello@yahoo.com

Seems you and I have some of the same books on our shelves. I found a few on yours that I haven't read that have piqued my interest. Cheers.
Quite the opinionated chap, aren't you ;)* It's good to hear what other people think about their books. What are your top 5 recommends?
Well, there WAS a guy... but now I can't find the picture. I swear you look like twins -- though you're clearly the better looking one -- smarter, too.
There's a guy (macaddict) on Flickr looks alot like you. ;-)
HiI am new to shelfari and arrived on your shelf because I am curious about other people's opinions - I was surprised there are so many shelves with NO opinions of the owners.I am very charmed by your tags " guilty pleasures" and "ashamed to have read" - a relief from some I have seen, and very useful too.Best regardsMonique Jacobs
and do something about that head -
you with the most opinions?? Figures.
