I have been an avid reader since the age of four, and the number of books on my shelf is a mere fraction of what I have actually read. I'm also a cheese fanatic - I've been eating cheese ever since I grew strong enough teeth, which is nearly 70 years ! The stronger and stinkier the better as far as I'm concerned ! But this is about books, not cheese ! I will read just about anything as long as it is well-written, although I tend to draw the line at the "Mills and Boon" stuff. In my old age I tend to enjoy a good detective novel, probably because they are not necessarily so mentally demanding !
