No, but if you are chopped liver then you're my mother's chopped liver - which everyone says is the best.

But seriously folks, there is a lot that I have yet to add to my 'read' shelf. Heck, there's still boxes in the garage full o' books I've yet to unpack from the move. You'll see some, including several of yours, added in coming weeks.

Hey, Greg -- I so get that! My to-be-read pile has long since begun to resemble a piece of furniture. (And I don't mean a small piece, like a nightstand or something. I mean like a Steinway.) Thanks for saying "yo."

Now THAT was a helpful answer. Thanks much, Mr Frost. Looks like I found a new author to follow in the process as well. Shadowbridge sounds absolutely intriguing.

Just wanted to let you know, that as a long-time fan of fantasy and science fiction, I greatly enjoyed your new book Shadowbridge. I even went and posted a glowing review of it here on Shelfari. Well done, and I'm looking forward to the next one! Out of curiosity, were the stories within Shadowbridge written before or after the concept for the rest of the book? If before, then excellent job integrating them into the storyarc! If after, then great job filling in your main progression!

You wrote: " Regarding your "Lesser Known SF Writers" post on Rebecca Ore--she's a friend of mine, and she's not black. You sure you weren't referring to Octavia Butler?"

Oops! I read the two authors simultaneously years ago and now I have difficulty keeping them (and their books) separate in my mind. Love them both dearly! Pardon my senior moment.
