I saw that on your shelf. It looked good from what I could see. So I will check it out sometime. Unfortunately there are few new books here that you don't have to spend an arm and a leg on and few/no libraries so unless someone happens to donate that book to us, I would have to buy. I miss libraries.
Hi Gregg, I was just looking at your profile and shelf and noticed your interest in history/ alternative history. Thought I would recommend to you the author I am currently reading. Guy Gavriel Kay. He writes fantasy but a lot of them have sort of an alternative history feel to them. I think he is a really good writer although most of his books have pagan themes, so if that is not cool with you then you would probably want to pass.
Fantasy by Kay: Tigana or "The Fionovar Tapestry" a trilogy
More historical with a touch of fantasy: A song for Arbonne, and Sailing to Sarantium and Lord of Emperors. The last two are a duology. Another one is Last Light of the Sun which I think is Vikingish, but more violent than his other stuff.
