    Hello Grayraven
Thank you for the nice note and I appreciate the book name. I will definitely read it. Yes, I have been a card carrying feminist because I started reading about the burning times. The library back home thought I had lost my mind. So that jump started my NOW membership...the rest is history. The children tolerate my craziness. I have put many prayers and hopes into the grandchildren! LOL. The pendulum swings in both directions. I have been studying many religions, in an informal way, for over 20 years now. I believe that the salvation of humans is to be found within the similarities within the different paths and our ability to rise above the differences which divide us at this time. Fear truly is our enemy.

Hello Grayraven. I was checking out your collection and I must say I don't know when you had the time to put them all on your shelves. I found that we had many books in common and I have studied all paths-Hindu, Buddhist, Wiccan, Jewish ( my adopted family) and Sufi. I hope you will be my friend. I look forward to an exchange of books and ideas.

'Interview' was the first Rice book I ever read and was completely taken with her novels. We have the movie whch I think is very well played and accurate to the book. That doesn't happen much of the time when books are put up on the big screen.
    What are you reading now?

    Grayraven,

Jewish based groups are being assaulted by another member. My Chassidic Masters and Rebbes group and your Kabballah/Qabalah group have been included. I have sent an abuse complaint to Shelfari; you may wish to do the same so we can keep this kind of behavior off this site.

I don't have a problem with debate and expression of unpopular ideas, but this is just an out-and-out assault against Jewish based groups.

    L'Shalom,
    Aryel Nachman ben Chaim

    Dear grayraven
I hope you might check out my suspense novel Blood Web publishing in November..

Brazen and unconventional, FBI Agent Caitlin Diggs may be humanity’s last hope for stopping an invincible killing machine. A chance encounter has linked a teen drifter with a mysterious crystal. A union between biology and technology now gives the teen the ability to track his prey via a biological Internet. Diggs must take this blood web offline, because if she doesn’t, she too will fall victim to its satanic wishes.

Here’s where you can find it

Very true. I see taoism in ur profile. I became interested in the taoist stream of thought after reading 'Guidbook to ZMM'. Are you aware of any books on it?

I was in the 'If you had one book' group and had just entered Pirsig's ZMM as mine...Then saw that you had the same choice. From your profile, it seems we are two very different people. Interesting how books help connect.

    Cheers,
